Wedding Buttonholes and Corsages
Wedding Buttonholes and Corsages by Anna’s Flower Barn.
Anna’s Flower Barn, located in Cornwall and specialising in wedding flowers, buttonholes and corsages.
I can spend far too long fiddling with buttonholes and corsages these days just to get them right!
When I ran my shop a mans buttonhole was just a carnation with some old fashioned fern and the lady just a bow added. Twenty years on and fashions have changed. The simple rose back with foliage is still a classic and popular choice but if you are having a country ‘just picked’ look, a cluster of small flowers tied with twine or raffia make the perfect buttonhole or corsage to compliment the wedding.
Simple bunches of Gypsophilia have become a firm favourite too for a simple fresh look. In July I have starfish buttonholes to make for a seaside theme wedding at Pendennis Castle!
Mothers of the Bride and Groom can have flowers as a wrist corsage, on her hat, bag or outfit. Adding lace and pearls look lovely for a vintage wedding.
Although I specialise in meadow wedding flowers here at Anna’s Flower Barn, I am able to arrange a selection of styles to suit your wedding. For a free quote, pop over to the barn for an informal chat. If you are looking for some inspiration I have an extensive gallery for you to view and all arrangements can be adapted to suit your flower choice and colour themes.
